Job description

Our customers are beginning to embrace cloud-native and more agile approaches to developing software and services. To achieve this, they require the right tools and platforms, as well as the appropriate mindset to navigate the cultural shifts necessary for adopting modern application practices. And for this, we need your assistance!

ITQ assists our clients in accelerating development and iteration, supporting their infrastructure teams in implementing Kubernetes and related services, and establishing platform teams, all to extract maximum value from a cloud-native mindset and approach. We leverage all public cloud services or the VMware Tanzu portfolio.

We are seeking passionate and experienced platform and DevOps engineers to assist us and our clients on this journey. Does this sound like a challenge you'd like to take on? Let's have a conversation.

Your Role at ITQ:

With your understanding and experience in infrastructure (Compute, Network, Storage, Cloud management) and working knowledge of Kubernetes and other operating systems, you play a leading role in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced platforms. You're responsible for setting up and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes, and monitoring system performance.

Additionally, you actively share knowledge and promote best practices within the team. You stay informed about the latest developments in cloud-native technologies and DevOps practices, effectively applying this knowledge to projects.

Job requirements

Your Responsibilities and Technologies:

  • Familiarity with the concept of infrastructure as code and knowledge and some experience with automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Puppet, Ansible, Terraform).
  • A working knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) and understanding of its use by developers and how complex application architectures are deployed, managed, and cycled in Kubernetes. Certification is not mandatory, but the ambition to attain CKA and CKAD certifications is required.
  • Familiarity with the Open-Source community, especially the CNCF landscape of projects such as Kubernetes itself and associated projects like networking tools for overlay, ingress, and load-balancing.
  • Understanding and some practical experience with Kubernetes YAML-management/overlay technologies such as Helm, Kustomize, and the VMware Carvel Toolset.
  • Knowledge of and experience with version control, container registries (Nexus, Harbor), and continuous integration/delivery tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps Pipelines, Concourse CI, Tekton, Flux, ArgoCD, Github Actions, etc.). • Some familiarity with one or more programming languages (C#, Java, Go, Javascript, Python) and frameworks (.NET, JVM, NodeJS, Spring).
