As a Security Engineer at ITQ, you will play a crucial role within our security team, helping to provide a secure platform for our clients. You will collaborate with colleagues who share your enthusiasm for technology. Currently, our security portfolio includes Trend Micro, MS Defender, and Carbon Black. We are looking for someone to strengthen our team with expertise in Trend Micro.

Job Description:
As a Security Engineer, you will ensure that our clients' environments are up-to-date and support various MSP departments (Digital Workspace and Hybrid Cloud) with their security-related needs. You will stay informed about developments at the client and assess their impact on the client’s data center. In this role, you will also be responsible for lifecycle management, incidents, and changes related to the Trend Micro portfolio. Additionally, you will be involved in projects where we roll out new environments and onboard clients, providing support as a project team member.

Your responsibilities include:

• Implementing and maintaining the Trend Micro infrastructure. In the future, we will expand our portfolio to include MS Defender and Trend Micro’s cloud-based solutions.

• Analyzing and resolving security-related incidents.

• Performing standard changes in the client environment.

• Advising on and establishing best practices for our security products.

• Building our new security proposition together with the product owner and security team.

What we are looking for:

• At least three years of relevant work experience. Experience with maintenance/implementation is a plus.

• Knowledge and experience with Trend Micro products such as Apex One, Apex Central, etc.

• Ambition to further enhance your security knowledge with MS Defender and Trend Vision One, etc.

• A structured and systematic approach.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide service-oriented and customer-friendly support.

• Passion for IT, ownership, and a willingness to further develop your technical knowledge and contribute to the team.

Dit neem je mee

Je hebt minimaal drie jaar relevante werkervaring en een stevige technische basis binnen security. Je wilt niet alleen uitvoeren, maar ook invloed hebben op technische keuzes en dienstverlening.

We zoeken iemand met:

• Minimaal drie jaar ervaring als Security Engineer, Security Consultant, SOC Engineer of in een vergelijkbare functie

• Ervaring met het implementeren of verbeteren van technische securityoplossingen

• Brede kennis van endpoints, infrastructuur, identity, netwerken, workloads en cloud

• Ervaring met loganalyse, securityalerts, incidenten en detectie en respons

• Een gestructureerde werkwijze, eigenaarschap en uitstekende beheersing van het Nederlands

Ervaring met Microsoft Defender, Trend Micro, Arctic Wolf, scripting of automatisering is een pré. Belangrijker is dat je technische verbanden ziet en nieuwe technologie snel eigen maakt. Voor indiensttreding moet je een Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag kunnen overleggen.
