Your Role at ITQ:

As a platform engineer at ITQ, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced platforms built on cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes. Your tasks will involve setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. Additionally, you'll stay abreast of the latest developments in cloud-native technologies and DevOps practices to continually contribute to improvement and optimization.

Your Responsibilities and Technologies:

• Solid understanding of Windows and/or Linux system administration.
• Familiarity with infrastructure components (Compute, Network, Storage, Cloud Management), preferably experience with VMware infrastructure and/or hyperscale cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) portfolios. You may even have automated cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Understanding and ideally some practical experience with Kubernetes and Docker. You're either in possession of or willing to quickly achieve CKA or CKAD certifications. You might even have a local Kubernetes distribution running on your laptop.
• Active involvement in process automation and familiarity with at least one scripting language.
• Some familiarity with the Open-Source community, especially the CNCF landscape of projects such as Kubernetes itself and associated projects for networking tools like overlay, ingress, and load-balancing.
• Some experience with using Git and understanding the fundamentals of GitOps.

• You have studied in the field of computer science, IT specialist, or a related discipline.
• Preferably, you have some experience in IT in customer-facing environments.
• You possess good social, consulting, and communication skills and are proficient in both Dutch and English.
