A role filled with responsibility and where you work closely with internal teams to ensure that the delivered services meet the expectations and needs of the clients.

Introduction to the SDM role

As a Service Delivery Manager, your main task is to take the lead. You keep a tight grip on things and steer towards the KPIs as defined in the SLA, the Service Level Agreement. With your overview and structured approach, you stay one step ahead of the customer, ensuring that the expected quality is delivered. You play a crucial role as a liaison between the customer and ITQ. The Project and Service Managers of our clients are your main counterparts. You work in a team of 3 other Service Delivery Managers and are personally responsible for 2-4 bigger clients in the Healthcare and 10 smaller clients outside the Healthcare market.

As a Service Delivery Manager, you collaborate within a partner team. The partner team comprises Engineers, Sales and an Architect. Your role within the partner team is to ensure that everyone adheres to the agreements made. For each client, you have a fixed partner team, and together you are jointly responsible for the client.

On a monthly basis, you provide a report on the delivered services and discuss them with the customer. By ensuring the quality of our services, you reassure the customer that they have made the right choice in selecting ITQ as a partner. This helps you build a long-term relationship with the customer. You understand better than anyone else that each customer is unique, and that's precisely what makes this role so exciting. No two days are the same!

Job requirements

  • You have a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Service Delivery Manager.
  • You have knowledge of and experience with service management techniques (for example, ITIL).
  • Experience with IT in the healthcare sector (hospitals and care institutions) is a definite advantage.
  • You have a bachelor's degree or higher-level of education and thinking.
  • You possess organizational sensitivity and have a good sense of interpersonal relationships.
  • You have a customer-oriented attitude, persuasiveness, and a sense of responsibility.
  • You are capable of overseeing multiple service delivery projects with a helicopter view and can switch between them quickly and effectively.
