Job Description:

As a Support Engineer, you work together with your colleagues to ensure that the platform we have implemented for the customer continues to perform well after delivery. You are part of the Platform Support Services team, currently consisting of 6 Support Engineers. You are the primary point of contact for the IT departments of our customers, thus significantly influencing how customers experience our Managed Services Provision.


In addition to resolving incidents, you also work on preventing them. This includes monitoring customer environments, problem management, and defining and implementing changes and projects in collaboration with Engineers.

Your responsibilities
As a Support Engineer, your responsibilities include:

  • Translating change requests or functional requirements from the customer into approved change orders.
  • Ensuring timely and high-quality execution of all technical and administrative changes.
  • Maintaining customer contact throughout the change management process and individual changes.
  • Initiating (and contributing to) process improvement proposals.
  • Coordinating execution and ensuring alignment between involved internal and/or external parties.
  • Ensuring further standardization of the change process.


What are we looking for in you?

  • You have at least one year of experience in second-line service provision.
  • Your educational level is at least MBO ICT-4 and you have a bachelor's degree level of thinking and the courage to take on this new challenge.
  • You are good with customers and have strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • You can maintain overview well and work in a structured, systematic, and accurate manner.
  • You are analytically strong and are willing to step out of your "comfort zone". You see solving tickets outside your direct area of expertise as a challenge and are able to assess risks well.
  • You have gained some experience with, for example, Citrix, Ivanti/RES Workspace Manager, or VMware.
  • Knowledge of ITIL is an advantage.
  • Knowledge and experience with PRTG, Topdesk, and other products from our platform are a plus.
